Original painting done in July 2021. It's of the area of the Freshney behind Morrisons in Grimsby, which has recently come to the headlines as it's under threat from developers. It's a special area that's home to a rare chalk spring and blow wells.

All of my paintings are created in watercolour and ink in a sketchbook, in which I paint, draw and write every day. My style is really informed by my years of being a calligrapher. I’m really inspired by Grimsby and Cleethorpes, and wider Lincolnshire.
