Bucket and spade

Painting done after a later-afternoon visit to the beach in early spring. I saw this bucket and spade and couldn't resist make a painting out of it!
All of my paintings are created in watercolour and ink in a sketchbook, in which I paint, draw and write every day. My style is really informed by my years of being a calligrapher. I’m really inspired by Grimsby and Cleethorpes, and wider Lincolnshire.
