Lincoln in the spring

Painting of the Millennium arch over the River Witham in Lincoln done in April 2021, just as we were starting to come out of Covid Lockdown. All of my paintings are created in watercolour and ink in a sketchbook, in which I paint, draw and write every day. My style is really informed by my years of being a calligrapher. I’m really inspired by Grimsby and Cleethorpes, and wider Lincolnshire.
